Whale

Whale of a Tale...my meetings with whales.
One of my favorite moments fishing with my Dad.
We were out in Auckland harbor, past Rangitoto Island, in our boat, fishing in our favorite spot.
Normally there was a regular run of fish.
Suddenly everything went quiet.
The next moment this tail emerged just a matter of meters away from the boat.
What a shock!
It splashed down and showered us with ocean water.
What a blessing!

My sister just bought herself a boat to sail around New Zealand. Now I can finally go fishing and swimming in the deep blue ocean when I visit her. I fished in Auckland harbor for years with Dad. We nearly caught a shark and were almost hit by a whale tail once. Yachting was always in the family. I love lasers and cats the best.
