Guan Yin - Message from Guan Yin on Tantra

MESSAGE FROM GUAN YIN
I am Guan Yin, Lady of the Earth.
I bring to you the teachings of Tantra or Unity, in this time of Awakening, in Beauty, Light and Love.
TANTRA
Tantra तन्त्र simply means “to weave” from the root tan meaning expand and
tra meaning instrument. This also means union, unity or unity consciousness.
The essence of the path of Tantra in Tibetan Vajrayana Yoga is “to weave method and wisdom”. The method here refers to bodhicitta, seeking
buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings and the wisdom refers to wisdom realizing emptiness.
THE YOGA METHOD OF GUAN YIN, THE BUDDHA OF COMPASSION
In deity yoga practice we first meditate on and dissolve everything into emptiness. Then from within emptiness, the very clear mind that realizes emptiness arises in the form of the meditation deity, Our Mother, Guan Yin. This is explained below.
THE HEART SUTRA
gate gate pāragate pārasaṃgate bodhi svāhā
ག༌ཏེ༌ག༌ཏེ༌པཱ༌ར༌ག༌ཏེ༌པཱ༌ར༌སཾ༌ག༌ཏེ༌བོ༌དྷི༌སྭཱ༌ཧཱ།
"go, go, go beyond, go thoroughly beyond, and establish yourself in enlightenment”
THE SHARED HEART
The foundation of Our Mother, Guan Yin’s path is compassion.
Simply put, our loving kindness in our relationships (with our self and others) gives Her Delight.
Loving kindness directed towards ourself or others inspires Our Higher Self and because we exist in the Shared Heart with Our Mother it inspires Her to Divine Delight in Her Children.
If you truly look at every connection as an opportunity for wisdom (learning from) and liberation (giving to) then the Higher Self's Shared Heart expands with every communication which is in effect an energy exchange of love.
When you give pure love to me, for example, Your Higher Self IS GIVING my Higher Self energy light and love, helping it expand into a new reality, that of the Divine Shared Heart with Our Mother.
THE PERFECTION OF WISDOM
Insight into emptiness is a deep wisdom. When you understand emptiness you understand that the self you have created is also empty, devoid of existence. When you empty your self, the nature of the mind is revealed as clear and luminous and into this clear luminous limitless light Our Mother is able to BE.
The potential for attaining the qualities of the Buddha of Compassion, Our Mother Guan Yin, lies naturally within all of us.
When we grasp at our self and existence we distort perception of reality.
By practicing deity yoga, the yoga method of Guan Yin, where we visualize ourself as Her, we cultivate our innate mind of clear light and understand the true meaning of emptiness WHICH IS TO LET DIVINITY IN.
INITIATION INTO THE YOGA METHOD OF GUAN YIN
The true nature of Our Mother is compassion, bodhicitta, seeking
buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings. This is the right motivation for initiation of this energy process.
If you have another deity such as Lord Sananda (Yeshua’s Higher Self) or Lady Nada (Mary Magdalene’s Higher Self) or Mother Mary or Lord Krishna you can still follow this same process, choosing that deity as Your Mother or Father.
In deity yoga practice, visualization and imagination are very important so let go of your ordinary perception and identity and cultivate the perception and identity of the meditation deity.
DIVINE GRACE
The Practice is as follows.
The Deity
One taste of emptiness dissolves all form. Both the meditator, you, and the meditation deity, Guan Yin, are devoid of form and existence. The emptiness of our self allows your self to become an empty vessel, devoid of form, the same as the deity you are meditating upon. The limitless light will fill an empty vessel just as One that is still will know the truth. This is the same essence as the phrase “Be Still and Know God” Psalm 46:10
The Deity of Sound
Out of our experience of emptiness arises a sound, the resonance of emptiness.
The Deity of Syllables
Out of the pure mind arises grains of gold.
The Deity of Form
Out of the pure mind arises a meditation based on bodhicitta and emptiness. When we emanate light and make offerings to all the Krishnas, Christs, buddhas and bodhisattvas, ascended masters, angels and lighted beings, we can offer our own spiritual practice which is the highest of offerings. This is something we actually have to offer that pleases and delights Our Mother. It also gives a meaning to our meditation in that we are taking on the activities of Our Mother in bringing about others welfare.
The Deity of Mudra
We now arise in the full form of Our Mother
The Deity of Sign
We invoke and absorb the wisdom beings, Our Mother, making an offering to Her families and requesting the empowerment. The empowering deity, Our Mother , dissolves into us, crowning our body with the halo of compassion, love and light.
There are many manifestations of Our Mother. She is unlimited and so is your experience. Be blessed and love, be compassionate towards all beings.
WE are Krishna, WE are The Christ, WE are the Buddha.
Seek refuge in Krishna, the Buddha, the Christ Within. There is Our Salvation.
I am Guan Yin, Lady of the Earth.Love and Blessings from the Source.

Aurora australis
Earlier this week many New Zealanders braved the cold to capture images of the phenomenon
New Zealand's South Island, and some parts of Australia, have been treated to the Aurora Australis, a natural light display in the sky.
A solar storm meant that the Aurora Australis, the southern counterpart of the Aurora Borealis, was visible much further north than it usually is.
Aurorae occur when cosmic rays or solar wind interact with the earth's upper atmosphere.
The aurora is forecast to be active again on Thursday night.
Earlier this week many New Zealanders braved the cold to capture images of the phenomenon.

Blair Pattinson, a photographer from Queenstown is part of a community of "aurora chasers".
"When you look at places [like] Finland, Iceland, North Canada, northern lights are very common," he told the BBC.
"We see it more as a treat, when you see an aurora that is strong enough. It's quite special. Many people wait years before they see them."

Stephen Voss, a medical practitioner based at the southern tip of New Zealand's South Island, has been chasing aurorae for the last 15 years.
"There is one word to describe the experience of every New Zealander who was out photographing the aurora this week ...freezing," told the BBC.
"We've had our coldest week of the winter this week with the entire South Island dropping well into sub-zero temperatures overnight."

Raccoon riding an alligator - as Russia increases its nuclear arsenal, perhaps we should pay more attention to the wisdom of animals

Man captures photo of raccoon riding an alligator

Racoon on the back of an alligator
A man walking in a national forest in central Florida has captured a rare image of a raccoon appearing to ride on the back of an alligator.
Richard Jones was walking with his family in the Ocala National Forest when they spotted the alligator.
He believes his son startled the raccoon while trying to take a picture of the reptile.
The image has become an internet sensation since the photo was taken on Sunday morning.
Mr Jones told local television station WFTV that he "snapped a lucky picture right when the gator slipped into the water and before the raccoon jumped off and scurried away".
"Without the context you'd think the raccoon was hitching a ride across the river," he told the television station.

The internet reacts

The photo was met largely with humour and a degree of admiration for the raccoon.

"The raccoon riding an alligator is the most Florida thing since mortgage fraud,"tweeted Benjamin Freed, a writer for the Washingtonian, alluding to the financial crisis that began in 2007.
While Mark Di Stefano found a deeper meaning in the image: "Some days you're the raccoon. Some days you're the alligator." he tweeted.
The debate also moved to how this compared to previous internet animal stars.

Saint-Donatien on fire
Images of the burning building were widely shared on social media
A huge fire has destroyed part of the 19th Century basilica of Saint-Donatien in the French city of Nantes.
The blaze broke out on Monday after morning Mass, with worshippers evacuated from the building, Rev Benoit Bertrand told local media.
Around 40 firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, which are believed to have originated on the roof where work was being carried out.
Two workers escaped from the top of the building unharmed.
The Mayor of Nantes Johanna Rolland said the basilica was "an important symbol" for the Catholic community.
In a statement on Facebook (in French) she also thanked firefighters for their "rapid and brave action".
The blaze broke out at around 10:30 local time (08:30 GMT) and may have been linked to "waterproofing work", according to the city's chief fire officer.
Firefighters works after a spectacular blaze that ravaged the roof of a 19th century basilica in Nantes, western France on june 15, 2015.
The flames were extinguished by "mid-morning" according to fire crews
The roof has been severely damaged and efforts are now underway to save several precious objects inside the basilica, most notably its organ.
Brendon Jeffreys, a professor at the University of Nantes, witnessed the fire take hold.
"Initially, it consisted of huge plumes of smoke coming from the tower, but after a few minutes, the flames started poking through and taking hold of the roof," he told the BBC.
"Many of the passers-by were visibly upset. The most frequent comment that I overheard was 'la vache', an expression of disbelief."
Media captionAmateur footage showed large plumes of black smoke rising from the basilica
Social media users shared images of the burning building on Twitter, showing smoke billowing from its rooftop.
The basilica dates back to the 19th Century and is dedicated to the religious martyrs St Donatien and St Rogatien.
Another of the city's religious sites, Nantes Cathedral, suffered similar damage during a fire in 1972. It has since been restored.

SHOCKING BREAKING NEWS - Eight out of 10 Malala suspects 'secretly acquitted' - BBC

Eight out of 10 Malala suspects 'secretly acquitted'

Malala Yousafzai is pictured before officially opening The Library of Birmingham in Birmingham, central England. (3 Sept 2013)
Malala Yousafzai was seriously injured in a 2012 assassination attempt
Eight of the 10 men reportedly jailed for the attempted assassination of Pakistani schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai were actually set free, it has emerged.
In April, officials in Pakistan said that 10 Taliban fighters had been found guiltyand received 25-year sentences.
But sources have now confirmed to the BBC that only two of the men who stood trial were convicted.
The secrecy surrounding the trial, which was held behind closed doors, raised suspicions over its validity.
Muneer Ahmed, a spokesman for the Pakistani High Commission in London, said on Friday that the eight men were acquitted because of a lack of evidence.
Saleem Marwat, the district police chief in Swat, Pakistan separately confirmed that only two men had been convicted.
Mr Ahmed claimed that the original court judgement made it clear only two men had been convicted and blamed the confusion on misreporting.
But Sayed Naeem, a public prosecutor in Swat, told Associated Press after the trial: "Each militant got 25 years in jail. It is life in prison for the 10 militants who were tried by an anti-terrorist court." In Pakistan, a life sentence is 25 years.
The acquittals emerged after reporters from the London-based Daily Mirror attempted to locate the 10 convicted men in prisons in Pakistan.

Secret trial

The trial was held at a military facility rather than a court, a Pakistani security source told the BBC, and was shrouded in secrecy. Anti-terrorism trials in Pakistan are not open to the public.
Pakistani authorities did not make the judgement available at any stage, nor did they correct the reports over the past two months that 10 men had been convicted.
The announcement of the convictions in April took many by surprise. No journalists had been made aware that the trial was taking place.
Pakistani authorities did not say when and where the men had been arrested or how they were linked to the attack, or explain the charges against them.
Ms Yousafzai, who is now 17, was targeted by Taliban gunmen while she was travelling home from school in the town of Mingora.
The gunmen boarded a bus and asked for her by name before shooting her in the head.
She was treated for her injuries in the UK and currently lives in Birmingham with her family. They are unable to return to Pakistan because of Taliban death threats.
Ms Yousafzai was targeted after campaigning for education rights for girls. She also wrote an anonymous blog for the BBC's Urdu service, describing life under the Taliban.
Pakistan's mountainous Swat valley, where she lived with her family, was overrun by the Taliban between 2007 and 2009.

Germanwings plane crash: Co-pilot 'wanted to destroy plane'

Breaking news
The co-pilot of the Germanwings plane that crashed into the French Alps on Tuesday appeared to want to "destroy the plane", French officials said.
Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin, citing information from the "black box" voice recorder, said the co-pilot was alone in the cockpit.
He intentionally started a descent while the pilot was locked out.
Mr Robin said there was "absolute silence in the cockpit" as the pilot fought to re-enter it.
The co-pilot, now named as Andreas Lubitz, was alive until the final impact, the prosecutors added.
"We hear the pilot ask the co-pilot to take control of the plane and we hear at the same time the sound of a seat moving backwards and the sound of a door closing," Mr Robin told reporters.
"At that moment, the co-pilot is controlling the plane by himself. While he is alone, the co-pilot presses the buttons of the flight monitoring system to put into action the descent of the aeroplane.
"This action on the altitude controls can only be deliberate."
The Airbus 320 from Barcelona to Duesseldorf hit a mountain, killing 150 people, after an eight-minute descent.

An Airbus A320 airliner has crashed in the French Alps between Barcelonnette and Digne, French aviation officials and police have said.
The jet belongs to the German airline Germanwings, a subsidiary of Lufthansa.
The plane had reportedly been en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf and was carrying 142 passengers and six crew.
French President Francois Hollande said: "The conditions of the accident, which have not yet been clarified, lead us to think there are no survivors."
Mr Hollande said the crash was a tragedy and called for solidarity with the victims, adding that the area of the crash was very difficult to access.
The plane had issued a distress call at 10:47 (09:47 GMT), according to sources quoted by AFP news agency.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said he had sent Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve to the scene and a ministerial crisis cell to co-ordinate the incident had been set up.
Both Airbus and Germanwings have said they are aware of the reports but cannot yet confirm them.

In the Hollywood 3D blockbuster Avatar, the Tree of Souls mesmerised audiences with its vibrant blue and purple colours.
But there's now an Earthly version giving the alien tree a run for its money - the breath-taking 10,000 square foot wisteria vine grove in Japan.
These amazing photographs were captured at Japan's Ashikaga Flower park, home to hundreds of enchanting wisteria vines.

IT support worker Jeff Matsuya visited the park in May, and was blown away by the beauty and immense number of vines, held up by special poles that allow the plants to climb upwards.
'Most people react in surprise when they see the Wisteria, as at first sight you wouldn't guess it were a real plant,' said Jeff.
'This is always followed by pure amazement - it's hard to take your eyes off the wisteria when you're standing in the fairy-tale environment.'
Jeff came across the park while researching online and decided he had to see it first-hand.

He added: 'As soon as I saw images of the wisterias online, I immediately knew that I had to go and see it for myself.'
Wisterias are climbing plants related to the pea native to North America, China and Japan.
They were imported to Britain in the 18th Century and can be seen flowering this time of year across the country.
Through careful pruning wisteria can be 'trained' to stand upright in a tree-form, rather than just climb up surfaces as is natural for them.
These breath-taking photographs, also captured by photographer Koji Tajima, show how the vines range through a spectrum of colours from white, light pink, purple and red.

The park is home to hundreds of these spell-binding trees, ranging from shrubs, draped wisteria, to 260-foot-long tunnels and are said to be the most beautiful wisterias in the world.
'Having lived in Japan for ten-years, I couldn't believe I hadn't visited before,' said Jeff.
'There are so many places I'm discovering for the first time and this was just one of the ones that took my breath away.
'I spent the entire day walking around and taking photos as various scenes caught my eye, there was so much to see.
'Photographers will always continue to visit this magical place year-after-year, just to capture the growing beauty.'
One of the largest wisterias, known as a 'Fugi Tree' in Japan, has been growing for 100-years, and forms a living umbrella of leaves over visitors.
