EL James' erotic novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, began as a self-published e-book but has gone on to top the bestseller lists.
The story about billionaire businessman Christian Grey's romance with literature student, Anastasia Steele, became the first book to sell more than one million copies on Amazon's Kindle e-reading device and the fastest adult paperback novel to sell one million print copies.
BBC News joined the Camden Girls Book Group at their regular meeting at Drink Shop & Do in London to get their take on the book.
